Hi, I'm Karen the heart and soul and artificial florist behind Fauxticial.
How would you describe yourself? I am absolutely nuts, I love floral decor and design. At weekends you can find me in the local forest gathering design ideas (and taking photos of mushrooms). I love nature and want to create as close to lifelike designs as possible.
Why set up Fauxticial? For me, flowers have always been more than decor. They're healing, symbolic, and endlessly inspiring. I created Fauxticial to share that calm beauty with others through ever lasting realistic florals that uplift, remind and showcase the beauty of nature.
Where did the name Fauxticial come from? First of all, It's pronounced Faux-tish-all. And it simply comes from combining a mixture of Faux and artificial together to make FAUX-TICIAL
My story
As a fully trained and qualified florist, my passion has always been to create beautiful natural floral designs.
However, the temporary nature of real flowers prompted me to seek a sustainable alternative. This journey led me to discover artificial flowers, enabling me to design stunning arrangements not only to endure but also capture the beauty I aim for in my creations.
I also believe in the power of collaboration and some of my most inspired designs have come from customers wanting a faux floral arrangement that is personable and reflects their emotions, nature and style. I am always happy to help create a bespoke design, whether that's for a wedding, memorial or a special event.
