In this contract:

  • ‘We’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ means; and

  • ‘You’ or ‘your’ means the person using our site to buy goods from us.

When buying anything from our website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other documents referred to in them. Before you place an order, if you have any questions relating to these terms and conditions, please contact our Customer Service team.

We have the right to amend, remove or vary our services and/or any part of the Website (including our Terms and Conditions) at any time.

Use of our website

Your use of our website and any dispute arising out of said use, is subject to the laws of English, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Unauthorised use

Unauthorised, illegal or malicious use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and / or be a criminal offence, 

Your information

Any personal information that you provide to us will be dealt with in line with our privacy policy, which explains what personal information we collect from you, how and why we collect, store, use and share such information, your rights in relation to your personal information and how to contact us and supervisory authorities if you have a query or complaint about the use of your personal information.

At Fauxticial we love being able to interact with and chat to you through social media. However, we can’t control those social media platforms or how you set your profiles on them. Please check and set your privacy settings so that you understand and are comfortable with how your personal information on those platforms will be used.

Placing an order

By placing an order via our website ( you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

Please read and check your order carefully before submitting it. If you need to correct any errors you can do so before submitting it.

When you place an order at the end of the check-out process, we will send you an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email is an order acknowledgement and does not mean that we accept your order. We may reject your order for the following reasons:

  • the goods are out of stock or unavailable;

  • we cannot authorise your payment;

  • there has been a mistake on the pricing or description of the goods;

  • there are discrepancies in account information provided i.e., post code not matching the address.

Don’t worry, if there’s an issue with an order, we’ll get in touch with you.

A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will be formed when your payment has been approved, the prices have been verified, and the order has been processed and dispatched. A second email will be sent confirming these arrangements and you will not have ownership of the goods until they have been dispatched.

In order to contract with Fauxticial you must be over 16 years of age. We retain the right to refuse any request made by you.


It is your responsibility to:

  • Satisfy yourself that the goods are suitable for their intended use, in particular keeping an eye to our guidance on suitability for outdoor use.

  • Consider, if using in public buildings and spaces, if there is any restrictions due to fire regulations.

  • Ensure that products containing small parts such as berries are kept out of reach of young children and potentially pets.

Product descriptions

All written, graphic or photographic information, particularly related to size and weight, is illustrative, approximate and does not form part of the terms and conditions of sale. Information may be updated from time to time without notice.

Pricing & availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and cancel your order. We will then update our website with the correct price as soon as possible so the order can be replaced if needed. If you cancel the order and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

The website may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfil any orders that you may place based on information on the website that may contain errors or inaccuracies, including, without limitation, errors, inaccuracies or out-of-date information regarding pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.

All prices are shown in GBP (Pounds Sterling).



All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The Company reserves the right to withdraw or amend quotations in the event of error or material change in costs.


Payment can be made via our secure checkout pages using your credit or debit card (details of accepted credit or debit cards are provided during the checkout process). You can also pay using PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Card charges will appear on your statement as "Fauxticial".

When placing an order, you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card, bank account, Google Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal account used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.



We use trusted third party logistics providers to deliver our goods. If you want to see your delivery options, please visit our delivery information page before you place your order.

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or other occurrences beyond our control for which we will not be responsible.

Delivery of the goods will occur when we deliver them to the address you provide us with when you make your order. You are responsible for the goods when delivery has taken place.

If you are a private buyer we advise against deliveries to hotels or third party couriers. Any orders made with such delivery instructions are entirely at your own risk following delivery by our logistics provider.

We recommend you refrain from scheduling work or hiring tradesmen until you have received the goods.


If for any reason delivery cannot be made, our logistics providers will post a card advising you that they have attempted delivery and invite you to telephone / contact them to arrange either a collection from the nearest collection center or re-delivery to the original address at a convenient time during normal working hours. If you or your nominee fail, through no fault of ours, to take delivery of the Goods at the Delivery Location, we may charge the reasonable costs of storing and redelivering them.

The Company is not responsible for any loss of profits arising from late or non-delivery of goods, or delivery of damaged goods, however caused. In the event of goods not being received within the agreed delivery times of the order, please contact us.

Loss or damage in transit

The Customer should endeavor to notify the Company by phone or writing within 48 hours of delivery to note any damage. Damages reported within 30 days of delivery will be exchanged or refunded. After this period a partial refund may be offered.

If the goods are not delivered or lost in transit, the Customer should notify the Company within 30 days of dispatch, or sooner if tracking information suggests an issue.

Photographic evidence of the damaged goods will be required. We will try and notify you of a decision within 3 Business working days.

The liability of the Company in the case of damaged or defective goods shall be no greater than the invoiced price paid by the Customer.

The Customer is responsible for both the cost of returning items and ensuring it arrives in a saleable condition. Made to order items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Nothing in this contract affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (also known as ‘statutory rights’). You may also have other rights in law.

Please contact us, if you want:

  • us to replace the goods;

  • a price reduction; or

  • to reject the goods and get a refund.


Orders cancelled prior to dispatch are refunded within one working day. Returns are refunded within 14 days of receipt. All returned goods will be inspected for use and / or damage before refunds are processed. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is considered to be the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.


Unless stated otherwise on the product page on the website we warrant our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of purchase.

If the product fails to conform to this warranty we will, at our option, either replace the item or refund the original purchase price.

This will be subject to us being satisfied that the defect has not been caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, repair, alteration or accident. An example of this would be using a product outdoors that we are not describing on our website as being suitable for outdoor use.


These terms and our dealings with you are subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.


From time to time our terms and conditions and privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes in policy and / or regulation. We will give notice via our email newsletter. However, we also suggest please check these pages regularly.
